"With you?" Firia asked raising her eyebrows. He nodded. "Over my dead-"

"That's alright then. I knew you weren't take up the challenge to go with a Mazoku," he interrupted her.

"I didn't say that!!" Firia said angrily. "I can take any challenge any Mazoku takes!!"

"Well, whatever. If you're too chicken, then just say it,"

"NANI?!!!" Lina could hardly believe her ears. "Jeez... wheez.. this should be put in the X-Files or something. Under the unsolved mysteries."

"Hai, I can't just back off. I'm going to show him I can do whatever he can do. Ha..ha..ha.. Anyway, he started it ," Firia replied combing her hair.

"Firia-san," Amelia called. "Aren't you going to take your mace?" Amelia points to the ever so familiar mace we get to see in almost every episode of Slayers Try. The mace lays on a bed.

"Iie," Firia answered as she got up of the dressing table. Lina and Amelia's eyes widen in disbelief.

"But.. you almost never..Correction..you NEVER.. go anywhere without your mace!!" Amelia exclaimed.

"I don't need that mace," Firia answered. Lina looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Do you like Xelloss?" Lina asked..no.. teased Firia..Firia didn't answer her. "Oooo.... Ha..ha.. Firia and Xelloss sitting in a tree!! K-I-S-S"

Lina was hit and she flew over the balcony! Amelia shivers when she saw what Firia hits Lina with.

Firia was holding a Much..Much..MUCH bigger..make that HUGE mace on her hand.

"Ahhh....Where should we go?" he asked. They were walking along this city.. Densité City.

"Whatever, I don't care. I can take any challenge you, Mazoku can take!" Firia glared at him. He just kept wearing that cheery expression on his face.

"Oh," He said as opened his left eye. "You can take any challenge I can take?" The corners of his mouth began to twitch. Firia was on fire. (Literally)

"So! And even better too! You, Mazoku think you are better than us, Dragons!" Firia threw back her head and does a Naga laugh. She faces Xelloss again, her eyes on fire. "Go ahead, make my day,"

Xelloss laughed. "It's impossible for a Dragons to be better than Mazoku. Nah, it would be a difficult task for you," He replied as he gave a big smile to her. Firia was practically pulling her hair out of her head screaming in madness.

"I challenge you," Firia jabs her finger in front of Xelloss's face. "Namagomi,"

Xelloss toss a dirty look at her. "Hai..hai..Ikedemas!!" Xelloss said as he takes Firia's hand and brings her to her first task.

"Where are we?" Firia said as she looks around. They were in a middle of a dessert. Piles of sand lays beneath their feet. And.. Nothing and No one.. insight. Xelloss just grinned.

"Ah.. Firia-chan-"

BONK!!! The sound of Firia's mace hit Xelloss. Xelloss dived face down the sand.

"Don't you Firia chan me!" She yelled. "What's the first task?"

"You have to be able to serve me dinner,"

"Nani?? Are you nuts! There's nothing insight!" She shouted.

"That's the whole point...After all this is a date.."

"A date!! NO WAY! I'm only going out with you to prove to you that Dragon are better than Mazoku!!" Firia said angrily. In front of Xelloss was a table plus tablecloth.

"So, then prove it!!" Xelloss said as he sat on a chair.

"Anyway, why should I bow to you?" Firia protested.

"Because, I can assure you that," Xelloss zaps up a buffet table complete with food Lina would die for. "A Mazoku is better than a Dragons anytime," He retorted as he walks up to the buffet table and started piling food on his plate. Firia wanted to bash Xelloss's head with her HUGE mace but decides against it.

"I'll show you!!!" Firia said as she walks off to find food for that obnoxious Mazoku. Xelloss didn't say anything as he wonders whether he should put French dressing or Thousand Island dressing on his salad. Firia transform into a dragon and flies off to complete..no.. to prove that Dragon was a lot lot lot better than that idiot Mazoku.

"I think the Thousand Island is way better," Xelloss finally made up his decision.

Mazoku no Baka... Firia cursed Xelloss in her heart. %^$#&@^!$$!! She looked down from the above sky. Nothing. He did this on purpose. Firia has been flying for what seems like hours but still no signs of anything,..yet. Only sands...sand, sand, a few rocks and mountains, sand, and more of those golden sand. Finally she stopped to rest under a shade of a mountain.

"Xelloss... I'll show you who's the best...Where the hell is everything?" As Firia wonders about it, she heard familiar voices from behind the mountain. Firia transform back into a human and run to investigate.

"Lina?" Firia asked as soon as she saw who it was. Lina and company. They looked at her sheepishly.

"Firia-san!!" Lina greets her in a phony smile.

"What are you doing here?" Firia retorted her hands on her hips.

"We're just..um...walking around.."

"We're off to a new adventure,"

"We're ..uh..what we were doing again?"

"Lina insists to go and see how you and Xelloss were doing,"

The four of them said in unison. "Uh..what I mean is.." They began. Firia couldn't take her suspicions off Zelgadiss. She storms over to him.

"What did you answer just now?" She asked Zelgadiss and Zelgadiss alone. Zelgadiss was trapped between Lina's Fireball and Firia's mace.

"Zelgadiss ...." Lina's voice trailed off as she gave him that look that said 'if you dare tell her that, one Dragu Slave is coming your way'.

"Zelgadiss ...." Firia's voice trailed off as she gave him that look that said 'if you don't tell me what you've said just now, one humongous mace is going to be planted on your face'

"Uh..um..." Zelgadiss was trying to find the words to answer both the question.

"I knew it!!" Firia stomps her foot to the ground. "You were spying on me, Lina Inverse!!"

"I did not!" Lina protested. "I just happened to walk by this way!"

Firia and Lina started to yell and shout at each other. Firia accuse Lina of spying and Lina accused Firia for accusing her for something that she doesn't really is accused off.

"How do you think her date with Xelloss went?" Amelia asked. Before Zelgadiss could answer, Firia rushed over to Amelia and pressed that she and Xelloss were DEFINITELY not on date. Amelia sweatdrops. Suddenly Firia smells something...

"What's that smell?' Firia asked Lina. Lina opened a bag she was carrying and took out a bundled up, red, checked cloth. Lina opened the cloth.

"Dinner!" Lina exclaimed. For on the cloth there were tons of food enough to feed a whole army.. scratch that off.. I mean there were enough food to feed Lina and Gourry. Turkey dinner, corn on the cubs, champagne, chocolate cake, cheesecake, drippy, yummy, steaks, fried chickens, all kinds of fruit and etc..etc..etc..Lina and Gourry start to dig in while Amelia prefers to eat with her table manners and Zelgadiss..just drinks coffee/ champagne. An idea pops into Firia's head.

"Lina..." Firia said in a sing song voice. Lina looked up to Firia with her mouth puffed up obviously from stuffing fried chicken and steak in one. "Can I ask you a favor?"

"Whamfrt gulp fasdmfftor?" Lina replied. Her right hand holding a drumstick and the left hand dipping the steak into a gravy. She gulped down her food and cleared her throat. "What favor?"

"I need those food,"

"I don't think so,"

"Lina!! My pride's at stake!" Firia grab a hold of Lina and shakes her around. "You know Karyouh and A Mazoku are ancient enemies, since god knows when!!"

"Firia..you're.. choking..me..."

"And I need to complete this task-" Firia continued ignoring Lina's statement. "-to prove to that..that.. overgrown namagomi that Dragons are the better clan!!" Lina tried to free herself by struggling, and giving Firia dirty looks, and screaming in pain. "And I know you don't like that Xelloss character as well!! So, just let me win!!" Firia pleaded. She finally lets go of Lina. Lina fell to the ground trying to regain her breath. Firia began bundling the cloth with the food in it. Gourry who was in the middle of a chow, were surprised, and had to abruptly stopped eating.

"Firia!' Lina points to Firia in an Amelia style way. "How dare you disturbs my dinner!"

"Lina..I'll pay for all you can eat when we get back later!" Firia tried to reasoned with Lina.

"No!"

"Lina!"

"I just want my dinner!"

"My pride's at stake!"

"Jerk!"

"Selfish Mortal!"

"Scaly Dragon!"

"Has Been Sorceress!"

Lina and Firia continued fighting while the others just stood back and watch them.

"I'll raise you 5 bucks Lina will win," Gourry said placing the bet.

"Nah, a chicken dinner says that Firia will win," Zelgadiss raising up the stakes.

"You're both wrong! A meal for two says that neither of them will win. They'll be fighting there for days until the food rots," Amelia joined in.

"Y'know she's right," Gourry agreeing with Amelia.

"I don't care, I just want someone to beat Xelloss that's all," Zelgadiss replied, bored.

"Somebody called me?" Xelloss suddenly appeared. He saw the both of them fighting. "Ah..interesting,"

"Life with Lina Inverse is always interesting," Amelia quotes.

"Firia-chan!" Xelloss called over. Firia automatically stopped fighting with Lina.

"Don't you Firia-chan me!" She took out her mace and-

"Ha...you miss me," Xelloss said making a face.

SWISH!!

"Miss me!" Xelloss obviously was having a fun time out of this.

SLING!

"Can't you dragons do anything right?"

SWINGS!!

"You know, violence never solves anything," He teased.

"Aaarrgghh!!!" Firia raised her mace even higher this time.

BONK!!

"Hah!" Firia said thinking that she had hit Xelloss hard. "That's what you get for-..."

"Firia...." Lina got back up. Half of her face were bruised and red as the result of the mace.

"Ah!! Gomenasai...Lina-san..." Firia quickly bows and apologizes. Lina wanted to Dill Brand her but Lina fall flat on her face instantly.

"Lina!!" Amelia rushed to her aid. A nasty bump formed on Lina's temples.

"Alright..Firia..you..win...but I still...want ...you...to..pay..for...the..all...you...can..eat... when..we...get...back..." Lina choked out her words. Gourry picked her up and the 4 of them head back to the Densité City. Firia faces Xelloss and showed him the dinner she made.

"There!! I have served you dinner!" Firia says as she lays the cloth on the ground. "I have completed the challenge!" She jabs her finger to Xelloss. "Now go far away and don't bother me!" Firia said as she walks away very, very quickly, following Lina-tachi.

"Ah..not so fast.." Xelloss grabs her hand and pulls her back. Firia frowned as she pulls her hand away.

"What?!!" She screamed. "I've completed your task! I've proven to you hat I can do whatever you do! What more could you want!!" Firia stomps her feet. Xelloss remains that cherry smile. "I hate you!" She cried. "You're a Mazoku! Dragon maidens such as myself shouldn't even be seen with you! A Mazoku! Namagomi!! Nama-"

Firia didn't get a chance to finish her 'namagomi' because Xelloss had pulled her by the waist and swept her in his arms and their lips met. Firia's eyes widen. Xelloss was talking into her head. [You don't really mean that...] (Yes, I do) [Then why are you kissing me back?] (Because...because...) [Ah..you don't really hate me, then] (Of, course I do! Mazoku and Dragons are not even meant to be seen together!!!) [Boy, you've kissed me for a long time. Are you sure you hate me?] (Do YOU hate me?) [Why do you think I asked you out for? Charades?] Firia freed herself from Xelloss and stared blankly at him for a while. Xelloss just kept that cherry smile on his face.

"You are trying to take advantage of me!!" Firia found herself saying. She could fell her face getting hotter and hotter. Xelloss laughed at her expense.

"And?" Xelloss asked her. Firia covered her face.

"And what?" Firia retorted.

"Well, you usually have non stop comments about me. Don't tell me you've run out of words?" Xelloss teased her.

"I HATE YOU!!!" Firia was ready to smash this Mazoku's head with her mace.

"Nah, you don't really mean that..."

"Yes, I do!" Firia screamed. Or do I?

"Then why the hell did we kissed just now?" Xelloss said pretending to be thinking very hard. Firia was loss for words. Come on..think! Think! You can't let this..this.. Mazoku win! Firia cursed.

"You're cute when you blush," Xelloss teased again.

"Shut up!! Urusai!! Baka!!" Firia responded. Firia turns back and storms to where Lina-tachi headed leaving Xelloss behind.

"Damn it! Xelloss..." Firia said to herself. She could fell that her face is 10 times hotter than the sands of the desert. She could see Lina's red hair at the front, with her gang. Firia rushes to them. Suddenly out of nowhere. Xelloss appeared in front of her.

"See you again.. Dragon Maiden.." Xelloss said as he took Firia's right hand and kissed it. And he vanished right before her eyes.

Xelloss-sama.... Firia lost in thought as she touched her right hand.

"I guess dragons aren't as violent as they used to be...Except....... maybe for you...Namagomi," Xelloss voice hollered in the sky.

"XELLOSS!!!!" Firia stands in rage as she transforms to find that #$%@^#!! Two-faced, idiot, bakayaro, kuso, kichigai, Mazoku.....
